I started interning at the Cecil Whig about a week ago. My editor's name is Katy Ciamaricone. I am working for the Features desk. Katy is really great to work with and has been very helpful thus far. After sending my resume and clips to the Whig, she contacted me with two stories she wanted me to do.
The first article is about a diabetes prevention program that is being run free-of-charge for residents of Cecil County. The second article is about a book of places to visit in Maryland. A few of the places are near the location of the Whig.
I'll be updating periodically with articles I'm writing and what it's like working for the Cecil Whig.
